BERGEN – VOSS – FLÅM  Breakfast at your hotel and check out. Private transfer to the train station to set out on a scenic train journey to Voss on the Bergen Railway. From Voss, travel by bus through charming villages and scenic natural landscapes, towards Gudvangen. From May-September the bus travels down the steep hairpin bends of Stalheimskleiva. Take a fjord cruise on the narrow Nærøyfjord surrounded by high mountains; arrive at the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the magnificent Aurlandsfjord. Overnight.

FLÅM – MYRDAL – OSLO  After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Make your way to the rail station to begin your journey on The Flåm Railway, named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. See spectacular panoramic views to some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. In the span of a brief hour, the train will take you from sea level at the Sognefjord to the Myrdal mountain station at 867 metres above sea level. Upon arrival, change trains to continue through scenic mountain terrain to Oslo, Norway’s capital surrounded by lakes, forests and rolling hills. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel on your own, located just a short walk from the train station.

OSLO  After breakfast, make your way to your meeting point to begin your shared half-day city tour of Oslo including the cozy city center, Holmenkollen ski jump, Vigeland Sculpture Park, a visit of your choice to either Fram Museum, with the polar ship Fram, or to Kon-Tiki Museum with Thor Heyerdahl’s rafts. Visit the open-air museum on Bygdøy Peninsula and its world-famous Stave Church dating back to the 1200s.

OSLO  Breakfast at your hotel. Today, enjoy your day at leisure to further explore Oslo. We recommend a stroll along the Karl Johan shopping boulevard or a visit to the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History. Optional tours include an evening cruise aboard a traditional wooden sailing ship with a Fjord-style prawn buffet. Or perhaps take an in-depth food tour focused on the unique culinary world of Norwegian gastronomy with a combination of sightseeing and food tasting delicacies such as reindeer and smoked whale.
