Day 1
TORONTO – SAN JOSE – ALAJUELA Depart from Toronto to San José, the capital and largest city in Costa Rica. Meet and greet, and take your private transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Asclepios, Alajuela.

ALAJUELA Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to San Jose International Airport for your flight to Perez Zelendón, transfer to Alta Gracia Hotel. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure.

Embark on an unforgettable equestrian experience at Alta Gracia’s world-class equestrian center where you will get to know your horse. Then allow our guides to accompany you through unpaved trails while taking views of the Brunqueña and Talamanca Mountain ranges. You can enquire View Auberge Adventures for any additional equestrian activities, including our “Life of a Cabillista” cowboy experience.. Leisure afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities.

Today you can enjoy any of the hotel activities: whether a kayaking tour around the mangroves, a whale & dolphin watching, nature hikes, a bird watching and night tour, doing yoga moves on the paddle boards, hiking with our passionate and enthusiastic naturalist guides, fishing, cooking and learning new recipes or just chilling by our fresh water pool with a cocktail and a good book. You are on the right place! We offer an extensive selection of tours and activities, which include non-scheduled self-driven tours, guided tours, private sessions and third-party operated guided tours. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

UVITA Breakfast at your hotel. Today you can enjoy a hiking tour to a region known as Punta Uvita (Uvita Point), in Ballena Marine National Park. Here you will see a variety of wildlife including shore birds & mammals but also great vegetation that includes a forest of mangroves but also here is where is located the famous ; Tombolo, locally known as the Whale’s Tail, which is a famous natural barrier reef that was created by the forces of two rivers on either side of the reef, which due to the currents has formed and maintained the shape of a whale’s tail when viewed from above. This hike begins at our operation center walking a mile down trough the town of Bahia and on the way to the beach our guide will show you part of our town and some historical vestiges that includes the oldest house of Bahia. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure.

UVITA – MANUEL ANTONIO Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park area. During the trip you can observe many typical communities of this region. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure.
Day 12
MANUEL ANTONIO Breakfast at your hotel. Today, let us take a hiking tour to Manuel Antonio National Park. It will be just like experiencing Costa Rica for the first time and therefore absolutely unforgettable. Take a leisure stroll or an intense hike (it’s your choice, since it’s your tour) with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide through our exotic, bio-diverse tropical rain forest which has been preserved for over 40 years. Be surprised by how many different kinds of animals as well as flora and fauna you can observe in the span of a 2 ½ hour nature walk or hike. And whenever you are ready, stop and enjoy some local fresh fruits and refreshments as you pause to savor your adventure thus far. If you like, take additional hikes through the trails and enjoy unspoiled, un-crowded, pristine beaches after your guided educational adventure ends. Learn about the history of the Quepoa Indigenous people and Costa Rica’s history in regards to the Manuel Antonio area. Return home with ideas of how to help preserving this priceless ecosystem and national treasure for future generations. Enjoy this unforgettable experience, but leave the park completed self- changed. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure.
