Hacienda Urubamba, Sacred Valley

The most recent addition to the Inkaterra portfolio, Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a contemporary hacienda-style hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, which lies between Cuzco and Machu Picchu.  Immersed in a gorgeous area of the countryside, the property spans approximately 100 acres surrounded by imposing green mountains. 

Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is built among mountains and tress in the heart of Urubamba Valley. It creates an enabling environment for mental, spiritual and physical rest. The hotel has a design inspired by the architecture of the Cuzco region, with an interior design inspired by local materials. A luxurious Andean environment proper of the Inkaterra spirit preserves the authenticity of Peruvian highlands.

All 12 rooms in the Casa Hacienda and 24 stand-alone luxury casitas feature breathtaking views of the valley, immersing guests in open space, serenity and relaxing solitude.

An Earth to Table concept is operated with a 10-acre organic plantation where guests are welcome to pick their own produce. Carbon-free crops such as quinoa, Urubamba giant corn, medicinal herbs and a variety of potatoes are farmed with traditional hand tools and oxen, as done centuries ago.

Various excursions are included with your stay such as visiting the hotel’s ecological farm, a trail walk at sunset, bird-watching, making your own Inca drink from start to finish, or walk along the hillside Huasi Challa for spectacular views of Huayoccari.
